PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The sheet metal shop equipment configurator is the second project for Blowtherm. Our client offers comprehensive sheet metal workshop equipment and tools that meet the highest European and global standards. Our task was to create a tool for sales representatives. We designed a tinsmith equipment configurator that enables sales staff to quickly create an offer for a customer.
When creating the sheet metal shop equipment configurator, we focused on making it easy to use and, above all, on reducing the time a sales representative has to spend creating an offer for a customer. Our system excludes the possibility of mistakes being made when creating and generating an offer. The company representative is guided step-by-step through the entire process of quoting sheet metal workshop equipment. He or she also has the option of using filters that make it easier to navigate the system and reduce the time it takes to search for products.
The main functionalities of the configurator are: the possibility of generating offers in PDF format with photos and product descriptions, downloading data from the GUS, automatic downloading of the current exchange rate and the possibility of assigning discounts. A Blowtherm sales representative can produce a complete offer for a customer in just a few minutes. Thanks to the integration with the GUS, you do not need to enter all the company data yourself. Simply enter the company's NIP and the rest of the fields will be completed automatically.
When creating an offer, in addition to the products, suggested accessories are shown that may fit with them or in which the customer may be interested. The sales representative can offer these to the customer and add them to the order. The system also allows discounts to be assigned to finished offers. The salesperson can add a discount to individual products or the entire offer without having to create the entire offer from scratch. A finished offer can also be modified by adding or removing products and accessories without having to go through the whole process of creating an offer from scratch.
