PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Perfectstay.pl is a platform that allows short-term apartment rentals in Toruń. Our main goal was to create a website that would reach as many people as possible looking for comfortable accommodation in this city. The project includes the creation of a graphic design and a website, as well as building a reservation management system from scratch. As with other realizations, we did not rely on ready-made templates. We adjusted the look and functionality of the site to the specifics of our client's business and modern UI and UX standards.
We have made sure that using the site is intuitive for users. The entire process of renting an apartment, from booking to payment, takes place on perfectstay.pl. This is made possible by integrating the site with a payment gateway (PayU) and booking platforms (Booking.com and Airbnb.com). We also implemented an interactive calendar that shows customers available apartment rental dates.
We also wanted to ensure that people renting an apartment have the best possible experience with it. To this end, we implemented an SMS text messaging system to customers. People who make a reservation will receive text messages informing them about: making a reservation, payment and the address of the apartment.
For this project, we have developed software that catches errors on the booking platforms and transmits information about them in real time. This prevents multiple bookings for a given apartment at the same time, the so-called double booking.
After the project was completed, our client received access to an administration panel, through which he can handle bookings. From the panel it is also possible to add discounts or change prices to all apartments at once. A useful feature is also the ability to generate reports. These can include the occupancy of apartments.
The administration panel can be shared among managers of individual properties. Each person with access to the panel receives a dedicated monthly report. The system we have developed is flexible. It can be modified according to the needs of property managers and owners, and even the cleaning companies servicing the apartment. Each person, depending on the authorizations they are given, has access to specific functions and data.
Those who have access to the panel can update room availability through online calendars such as iCalendar and fully handle maximum and minimum stay times. It is possible to specify a minimum booking time. If an apartment is vacant for a day between long bookings, the system will inform the property manager. This makes it easier to control that properties have 100% occupancy all the time.
